With investment roots that stretch back to 1982, today Stanwich Partners LLC focuses on acquiring lower tier middle market and small companies, with a particular emphasis on acquiring and mentoring family owned firms. Unlike many private equity firms that rely upon limited partnerships with finite life spans for their equity capital, Stanwich Partners represents several family offices and an affiliated network of private investors. This structure enables us to take a longer-term view towards building value.

At Stanwich Partners LLC, our goal is to be both an investor and trusted advisor to our portfolio companies. Although we do not seek to be involved in the day –to-day operations of an acquired company, we consider ourselves to be “operational investors.” This means that, relative to many private equity firms, we interact actively with management in establishing appropriate financial controls, making key personnel and capital expenditure decisions and developing strategic plans and initiatives. Stanwich Partners’ principals and network are comprised of professionals with deep operational, financial, marketing and strategic experience. It is our goal to bring this experience to bear in partnership with the management teams of our portfolio companies.

In pursuing acquisitions, we place a premium on devising acquisition terms to satisfy all parties. It is our philosophy that successful acquisitions are built around “wins” for all key constituencies, including the business, its investors, managers and employees.
